Ambassador Letitia Chambers, PhD

Dr. Letitia Chambers is recognized for her accomplishments as a CEO and her service to educational and non-profit organizations, including serving as CEO for 20 years of a Washington, DC consulting firm and later as CEO of the Heard Museum. Since retiring, Dr. Chambers has maintained a consulting practice and has curated several major exhibitions.

Earlier, she served on the Senate staff and was the first woman to be Staff Director of a standing committee of the US Senate. She was the Chief Budget Advisor to the Clinton/Gore transition; served as the U.S. Representative to the United Nations General Assembly; and headed the state system of higher education in New Mexico.

She recently joined the Board of International Arts & Artists, Washington D.C. in May 2021.
